In Inegol Municipality, the largest investment in the history of the New Municipal Service Building construction work continues. In the construction area where the process continues to accelerate, Mayor Alper Taban made inspections today with the accompanying delegation. Mayor Taban also made statements about the construction process.
WE WANT TO COMPLETE IT BY THE END OF THE YEAR
Mayor Taban, who first met with the contractor company officials in the New Municipality Service Building area, learned the latest situation about the process and received information about the progress. Then, inspections were made in the construction site. While it was seen that rooms and partitions were made in the building, Mayor Taban stated that the work will continue at an accelerated pace. Mayor Alper Taban, who made statements during the inspection, said, “We are in our new Municipal Service Building. We examine the works on site with our contractor company, colleagues and council members. We have a deadline about this place. We want to complete this place by the end of the year. Of course, you can't help but feel excited. We will have a very valuable service area in the center of the city, a square project with all its functions. We can actually see this as a new structuring process in this location of our city. Together with the removal of the Government Building on the opposite side, the District Governor's lodging and other areas in the opposite area, this triple island will actually gain the identity of a new center brought to the city.”
IT WILL BE A 24/7 LIVING CENTER
Pointing out that the building will be a center that provides 24/7 service, not a building where 8-5 service is provided, Mayor Taban said, “We should not think of this place as a mere service building. From now on, we will hold all exhibitions, presentations and events of our city in this area. This place will become a gathering place and center of the city. In addition, it should not be seen as an 8-5 working area. This place is planned with a logic that will live 24/7 and serve 365 days. Eventually, we will have a restaurant in the front. As you know, we recently launched a gastronomy. We will be presenting these flavors in our own kitchen. Again, with a cafeteria section on the side, it will turn into an area where our citizens will always have a pleasant time. Together with the parking areas in the basement, the center will be considered as a meeting point where people can sit and take photos.”
Emphasizing that there was no disruption in the construction, Mayor Taban continued as follows: “Fortunately, our construction work continues without any accidents since the day it started. Today we received information from our contractor. Fortunately, there is no disruption. We want to open this place by the end of this year on the deadlines we have given. Of course, the work has difficulties. As you know, there are also price increases. However, I thank you very much, our friends make connections in advance and carry out their work in a way to deliver the process on time. We will be waiting for the opening day with the desire to provide the best service to our fellow citizens in the most beautiful way here, God willing.”
WORK WILL CONTINUE AT AN ACCELERATED PACE
“The work will now accelerate a little more. There were also questions as to why the construction did not start, but as you know, in winter conditions, the works can enter a waiting period. We have actually completed these processes and now the work will be completed by accelerating even more on the entire surface. Hopefully, when it is completed, I believe that everyone will like it and I would like to express that this service, which has been brought to our city in this sense, is at a point where it will be appreciated.”
